Becoming a Member

Jubilate Chorale is an SATB community chorus, and the first two rehearsals of both the fall and spring semesters are open to all interested singers. Potential members must meet the following requirements:

• Acceptance by vocal audition

• Self-fund the cost for dues, music and concert dress

Auditioning
The audition consists of vocal exercises for range and quality, sight reading and tonal memory exercises. Prior choral singing experience is preferred. Auditions may be held prior to or at the conclusion of the first two open rehearsals.

Dues and Music
Dues are currently $50 per semester.

The cost for music is assessed each season, depending upon the works being performed.

Women: Concert Gown and Black Shoes

Men:      Black Tuxedo, Cummerbund
             and Tie, White Tuxedo Shirt,
             no ruffles

Rehearsals

Monday evenings at 7:30 at St. Joseph Chapel on the campus of Stonehill College, Route 138, Easton, MA

Fall Semester
Rehearsals are held from September through December.

Spring Semester
Rehearsals are held from January through May.
