History of Jubilate Chorale of Southeastern Massachusetts

For more than 30 years, Jubilate Chorale has been making beautiful chorale music in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Based in the greater Brockton since 1977, the SATB community chorus is comprised of more than 65 singers, made up of the young and young-at-heart and voice.

Jubilate Chorale promotes the performance and enjoyment of choral music, provides enrichment to participating singers, and encourages youthful choristers to continue the development of vocal skills through their adult lives.

Under the direction of Dr. Maxine M. Asselin for more than 25 years, Jubilate Chorale maintains two Youth Programs: the Mary H. Wilcox Stipend Competition and the Jubilate Chorale High School Music Enhancement Program.

Jubilate Chorale performs two major seasonal concerts: the winter performance is in December and the spring performance is in May.

In addition, smaller ensemble groups are available to perform throughout the year for special events.
